You can register from now! The early-bird rate is $175 (+ booking fee) up until the 25th of March and $225 (+ booking fee) from then on. There will be extra social events added at a later date.

RTSRE is fully customisable! Please leave suggestions here. If you want to run a longer idea past us, email us. We have no predisposed ideas to what the conference necessarily needs to be like… if the majority of attendees want X, we will do our best to make X happen!

June is high season in Santa Barbara. This means accommodation is scarcer than it usually is. Even if you are not sure whether you might attend or not, it may be a good idea to book a (cancellable) room for the conference even before you consider flights or registration or even asking permission to go. The conference is mid-week (Tues-Thurs with a Monday evening welcoming event and other social events throughout the conference) so that is not quite as bad, but if you intended to stay in Santa Barbara on the weekend prior or post, that may be trickier. Car hire is similarly scarcer although if you plan to stay in the main Santa Barbara district, walking and the occasional rideshare trip may suffice.

The Venue is the Carillo Recreation Centre in the heart of Santa Barbara downtown. There are numerous reasons why this is a great location for the conference! … one of these being the numerous food options available nearby. The conference will cater for morning and afternoon breaks but lunch will be a great chance to explore the numerous nearby restaurants with your new and old colleagues!
